Utah Governor Gary Herbert Tours Petroteq Plant.
After delivering his keynote address at the Uinta Basin Energy Summit held in nearby Vernal, Utah on September 10th, Governor Herbert and several of his key staff members toured the Petroteq extraction plant. Members of Petroteq’s team took the Governor through the extraction processes of their environmentally-friendly, extraction technology plant, the first of its kind in America. An informal meeting took place at the site where different features of the extraction technology were demonstrated. Oil was produced as part of the demonstration, as well as the expelled clean sand... the only two elements that ever leave the closed-loop system.
